1. My purpose of setting up BMT Elance Team is to provide talent and independent technical gurus with or without leadership skills a platform to work from home, work on something interesting and inspiring while making money from home, with the lowest investment possible while gaining access to the best available opportunities.
2. Team members can help each other on projects, and share thoughts and knowledge. Eventually we are forming a community of smart people for bigger opportunities. 3. With a team presentation on Elance, each member gets a better chance to be invited for bidding, to bid and to win bigger projects. With this, I ask all team members make their own profiles shine, go through credit check or test, and provide feedback on the company profile and make it shine too. 4. BMT Elance Team is non-profit to BMT. All money made via Elance belongs to whoever made the effort and got the money. It is up to each team member to decide who else they want to share the profit. Investment: As an initial movement, BMT registered a small business account and paying 19.95 usd/month as account fee with one category of service included. The service category is Web Development. BMT is also paying 10 usd/month for a team of 5 people. The total cost starting this month will be 29.95 usd/month. Investment Expectation: 1. Each team member will join the account for free to start. When he feels comfortable and ready to share the cost of the investment, he should do so. 2. For a team of 5 people, each person will pay only 6 usd/month for access to a small business account. 3. A team member can ask to add new service categories, for example: sales and marketing, writing and tranlsation, etc...to the account if he can get agreement from all other team members to share the cost of 9.95 usd/month per category, or if he likes to own the category by paying 9.95/month for the category (in this case, he could ask other team member to share later if he finds someone who is interested in bidding in the same category.) 4. When the team is big enough to be upgraded, we will make a decision then. 5. There are management tasks that will have to be performed by the owner representing BMT, for example, reviewing project status, and reminding team members to follow up with their projects in a timely manner, training, invoicing, payment processing and other project and account management tasks to ensure all members are working towards the same goal complying with BMT's Elance Team vision. For this, a default 2% of the profit will be allocated. The actual amount will be determined by the project lead based on the actual effort involved by the owner. Teamwork Spirit: It is expected that each team member works towards the same visions and do diligence to protect the company reputation. The owner remains full right to remove a team member if he/she is found guilty of manipulation with company info and team member info. Payment method: Payment term may vary per project. The default payment term can be found from BMT account details. The client will pay BMT for whatever invoiced by the owner or Manager team member. BMT will issue a check or transfer the fund directly to the project manager's account. Exit Logistics: If a team member, for whatever reason, decides not to participate in this team work effort, and would like to remove himself from the team, please send an email message to the account owner. You will be removed from the team once the notice is reviewed and confirmed.
